Trek 2013

      This is my first blog post in a while and to be honest I completely forgot that I had a blog. But alas I feel like should tell you about the epic camp I went to during the summer, Trek. It is an awesome camp that I have been going to for years, Trek is a Mennonite camp, which basically just means that we get lots of good food. Other than eating great food for an entire week the camp is completely in the wilderness, so everyone sleeps in tents or teepees and all of the camp activities are outdoorsy stuff such as archery and fishing etcetera. This year as well as last year I have been an L.I.T (Leader in Training). Through out the week long camp, me along with about 30 other L.I.T's cleaned dishes and outhouses and various camp duties. Aside from that we look after the campers for an hour during the day, while the counsellors are on their free time. We also have group devotions as well as personal devotions every day. Overall this amazing camp was yet again one of the many highlights of my summer!
